Michael Ryan and his operations leader Nick DiSantis made the decision to add laminating equipment with great care, spending several years assessing their needs and trialing competitive equipment. In summer 2022, with growing need for additional production capacity in laminating, Qualprint made the decision to add Autobond laminating equipment to meet this growing need and to vertically integrate their offering.

Ryan comments, “We needed to ensure we made a solid investment in a solution that delivered cost effectiveness vs. outsourcing, while providing the productivity and quality necessary to meet our increasing demand in the laminating department.”

Ryan explains, “With the Autobond acquisition Qualprint looks forward vertically integrated production, with in house laminating capability, delivering products quicker to market, with improved quality control. We will help our customers Win The Moment when it comes to finishing options.”

Ryan says of his experience with Autobond throughout the sales process, “Autobond has been tremendous to work with. They really understood our needs from the beginning. We very much look forward to installing the equipment following the Printing United exhibition.”

We invite you to visit Autobond at the Printing United exhibition, Booth N101, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, October 19-21 to see the Autobond Mini 76 TH-PH-VS laminator in action.
