Autobond is happy to announce Arrow Laminating, of southern California will purchase their third Autobond laminator in the past fifteen years. Autobond’s new Mini E 76 TH-PH is a 29” 5” wide x 41.73” long max format, all electrically heated (E), thermal laminator (T), with Heidelberg Speedmaster feed head (H), and post heat roller option (PH), for maximum adhesion to the toughest print.
Arrow’s Owner and President, Mike Barishman, made his start in the industry with GBC (General Binding Corporation) learning the ins and outs of the trade laminating business before going out on his own to open Arrow Laminating over 38 years ago. Based out of Chatsworth, California, Arrow serves a wide range of commercial printers that supply high quality finished print to a diverse set of local and national markets.
Oran Gilmore, Director of Sales for Autobond Laminating, recounts of his relationship with Mike, “When we first started talking, I was a junior sales rep learning a new industry and product range. I quickly noticed Mike is a high energy guy with a big personality that lives, breathes, and loves the printing industry. He bought his first Autobond before we ever met in person and without seeing the Autobond laminating system. I can’t credit anything I said or did, he just knew of our company and our reputation. That was enough. We’ve really enjoyed our partnership with Mike and all the staff at Arrow over the years.”
When asked why a third Autobond? “Our customers keep forcing us to expand! We’re a small company that does big work! To do that, we need the best, most reliable equipment!”, Mike exclaims.

Going on to share insight into his decision-making process, “The evolution of Autobond equipment is logical and always improving. Since 2008, all we did to maintain our two Autobond laminators is lube ‘em and change the tires”, Mike jokingly recounts. “We drive the heck out of ‘em!”
